We’re excited to announce the launch of a new 4M network for PhD students working on menstrual health topics. This initiative is run by Kami Abdullayev, a PhD student at University College London. Kami says:
“We know that researching menstrual health can often feel isolating, especially when your work doesn’t sit neatly within traditional academic departments or established research communities. This network aims to provide a supportive, low-pressure space for PhD students to connect, share experiences, and explore potential collaborations.”
The group will meet monthly in an informal, drop-in style format. There will be no required presentations or expectations to attend every session—just a space to chat, share ideas, and troubleshoot research challenges together. Meetings will be held online to ensure accessibility across different time zones.
